About

Founded by Bob Gibb Snr. and his brother, Dave Gibb in 1966, Can-Am Chains began manufacturing in Richmond, British Columbia, before relocating to Surrey in the early 70’s. The group expanded into the US in the late 70’s as Conveyco Manufacturing, based in Portland, Oregon. Bob Gibb became sole owner in 2002. Global expansion continued with Chile in early 2000’s followed by UK establishment.

In 2026, Nordic Quick Systems of Sweden joined the group, expanding our European footprint and adding patented technology for sprocket tooth and segment replacement, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime.

Today, Can-Am Chains manufactures industrial chains, attachments, sprockets, sleeve bearings and engineered plastics, with factories in the United States, Canada and Sweden. Serving forestry, pulp and paper, engineered wood products, wastewater treatment and bulk material handling, our products are built for demanding applications where performance and reliability drive productivity.

Whenever chain performance means productivity, Can-Am Chains delivers!
