The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Outside Technical Sales Representative to join our team and drive business development in the sawmill sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded salesperson with industry knowledge and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within sawmills and wood processing companies
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Conduct on-site visits, technical consultations, and product demonstrations
- Provide technical support and recommend chain solutions based on customer applications
- Report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity
- Collaborate with internal technical and support teams
About You
Essential:
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within industrial components or machinery
- Strong understanding of conveyor and/or transmission chain applications
- Experience working with sawmills, wood processing, or heavy industry clients
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regularly across Scandinavia and Northern Europe
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
Preferred:
- Mechanical engineering background or technical training
- Multilingual skills (Scandinavian languages a strong advantage)
